Today, this Twelphth of June, in the Year of Our Lord (any suggestions) Two Thousand Eight, we hereby declare the first Important Dead People in History with Funny Hats Club meeting called to order by the Honorable Admirale El Presidente Natxtron.
In attendance are:

Secretary of the Interior (temporary title until we think of something longer and more pretentious as well as selph accredited) Aurora Rowena Bolszak
Secretary of Dogmatic Affairs and International Diplomacy, Poncharello

First order of business: domain registration (if you found us this fast... cool)
Second order of business: Commencement of THE List, including but not limited to all preferential nominees to the Important Dead People in History with Funny Hats.
Third order of business: more beer.
Fourth order of business: restroom recess.
Fiphth order of business: blog.
Sixth order of business: First Nominated and Inducted IDPHFH honorarium, Marco Polo, Italian explorer and wearer of funny hats.

Discussion of possibility of Calendar moved to next meeting, by approval of Admirale El Presidente Natxtron. Awaiting Finalization of THE List.
